- Make the cake according to the directions on the box... let cool completely ( I use a 9x13 inch pan..)
- poke holes all over the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon... Mix up the instant pudding mix, and while it is still pretty runny; pour in all over the cake and into the holes...
- top the cake with whipped topping and refrigerate; always best the next day! Enjoy...
- You could toss some pecan pieces on top of the cool whip before serving...
