I have made this cake for the last 35 years. it goes every where. you can take it with you & you can freeze it will!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make buttermilk cake

  • Step 1
    Put the baking soda in the butter milk and mix well
  • Step 2
    Mix Sugar & oil together & mix well
  • Step 3
    Add the flour to the sugar mixture while mixing add the butter milk very slow then you add the vanilla mix well
  • Step 4
    Transfer to a buttered or sprayed bundt pan or you can put it in two loaf pans.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 for 1 hour test when done
