1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
5 - eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon water

How To Make butter pound cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Combine butter and sugar.
Step 3

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Step 4

Add flour, vanilla and water.
Step 5

Pour into greased and floured pan.
Step 6

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
