Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup 2sticks of butter
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanillia extract
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - assorted berries
How To Make brown sugar pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350f Grease and flour 9*5*3 inch loaf pan

Step 2In large bowl beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time

Step 3Add vanilla In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.

Step 4Gradually add to sugar mixture. Pour batter into pan.Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 5Remove from pan and turn out on rack to cool completely. Garnish with berries
