2 call purpose flour
2 clight brown sugar, packed
3/4 cbutter, cubed
1 csour cream
1 largeegg, lightly beaten
1 tspbaking soda
3 Tbspgranulated sugar
1 cchopped pecans
How to Make Brown Sugar Pecan Coffee Cake
- Preheat oven to 350. Stir together the flour and brown sugar in a large bowl. With a pastry blender cut the butter cubes into flour mixture.
- Press 2 3/4 cup of crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. In another bowl mix your sour cream, egg, and baking soda. Add this mixture to the rest of the crumb mixture, stirring until crumbs are moist.
- Stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Pour the sour cream mixture over crust in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture and pecans.
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 or until cake tests done in center with a tooth pick. Let cool in pan 30 minutes. Serve warm.
