2 c
all purpose flour
2 c
light brown sugar, packed
3/4 c
butter, cubed
1 c
sour cream
1 large
egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp
baking soda
3 Tbsp
granulated sugar
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
chopped pecans

How to Make Brown Sugar Pecan Coffee Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Stir together the flour and brown sugar in a large bowl. With a pastry blender cut the butter cubes into flour mixture.
  • 2Press 2 3/4 cup of crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. In another bowl mix your sour cream, egg, and baking soda. Add this mixture to the rest of the crumb mixture, stirring until crumbs are moist.
  • 3Stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Pour the sour cream mixture over crust in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture and pecans.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 25-30 or until cake tests done in center with a tooth pick. Let cool in pan 30 minutes. Serve warm.
