1 c
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
1 1/4 c
crisco (melted)
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
floured berries

How to Make Blueberry Cupcakes


  • 1Use paper liners for a 12 cup cupcake pan.
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
    Bake 15-20 minutes ( mine took 17 minutes) don't over bake them.
  • 2Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt 3 times.
  • 3Melt Shortening in a glass measuring cup. (Can use Crisco oil.)

    Then add 2 unbeaten eggs, then fill cup with milk.
  • 4Add liquid to sifted flour mixture and add vanilla extract.
    Beat thoroughly then fold in berries.
    Bake in paper cups in the 12 cupcake pan.
    Can sprinkle a little sugar on top of each one before baking to give them a little crunch on top. (I Did)
