blueberry & cheese coffee cake
I found this in an old cookbook. It's a really easy recipe, though the directions make it seem more complicated than it is.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon rind, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
How To Make blueberry & cheese coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 F.

Step 2Beat 1/2 C butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add 1/4 C sugar, beating well. Add eggs one at a time.

Step 3Combine 2 C flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well. Combine milk and water, stir well. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternatively with milk mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix at low speed after each addition until mixture is blended. Gently stir in blueberries and cream cheese.

Step 4Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan.

Step 5Combine 1/2 C flour and remaining 3 ingredients. Stir well with a fork. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter and bake for 55 minutes.
