blood orange flute cake
I've made this cake before with lemons. It's moist and delicious. Add a little orange liquor, and orange peel, to whipped cream and add a big helping to a slice of warm cake . Ice cream is awesome too!

Ingredients
- 1 box orange cake mix
- 1 package orane jello
- 4 - eggs
- 1/3 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange rind
- 1/3 cup water
- 2/3 cup blood orange olive oil
- GLAZE
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons orange juice, fresh
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur
How To Make blood orange flute cake

Step 1Combine the cake mix, lemon gelatin, eggs, oil, and water. Beat at slow speed for one minute. beat on medium for two minutes.

Step 2Pour into a well oiled 10" flute pan. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes. Check at 35 minutes with a toothpick.

Step 3Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and poke small holes all over cake.

Step 4While cake is baking, combine glaze ingredients. Drizzle over warm cake. Cool before cutting.
