·1 cup chopped pecans
·1/2 cup butter, melted
·3 large eggs, divided
·1 pkg. yellow cake mix, 18.25 oz
·1 pkg. cream cheese, softened, 8 oz
·1 pkg. powdered sugar, 16 oz
How to Make Bayou Brownies
- Preheat oven to 325. Mix pecans, butter, 1 egg and cake mix, stirring til well blended; press into bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Beat remaining 2 eggs, cream cheese and powdered sugar at medium speed with mixer til smooth. Pour over cake mix layer.
- Bake at 325 for 40 minutes or til set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.
