Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 3-4 - ripe, mashed bananas
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- BROWN BUTTER FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
How To Make banana bread brownies

Step 1Grease and flour a 10"x15" jelly roll pan. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat together, sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs until creamy. Blend in bananas and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Blend for 1 min. Stir in nuts (optional).

Step 3Spread batter evenly into pan. Bake 20-25 min. or until golden brown.

Step 4Frosting: heat butter in sauce pan over medium heat until boiling, letting butter turn slightly brown. Remove from heat immediately. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Whisk until smooth. Should be thicker than glaze but thinner than frosting. Spread over warm bars. Let cool, cut and serve.
