Baked Apple Pudding

From Grano's Kitchen

A co-worker made this for desert at work, when I tried it I thought it was good, but lacking something. I got the recipe from her to make it myself. I followed the recipe and changed nothing and it was so delicious I could not believe it was the same recipe she used. What was lacking is, is that she did a lot of substituting and it totally changed the way it was suppose to taste. Everyone that has tried this, loves it. See for yourself..

How to Make Baked Apple Pudding

  1. Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add apples
Combine dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Bake in greased 8 by 8 baking dish at for about 45 minutes.
  2. Sauce:
Heat butter, sugar and cream on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring until slightly thick, add vanilla. Serve over warm pudding.
  3. I heat the sauce until hot and then set the timer for 15 minutes and stir constantly until the timer goes off. I also, spoon this all over the top of the warm pudding (it soaks in as it cools) and then wait for it to cool until warm to serve it. I think it taste the best at room temp. Cover loosely or it will stick to the cover. I refrigerate it (if it makes it there) but let it get room temperature before serving it.
