Baked Apple Pudding

A co-worker made this for desert at work, when I tried it I thought it was good, but lacking something. I got the recipe from her to make it myself. I followed the recipe and changed nothing and it was so delicious I could not believe it was the same recipe she used. What was lacking is, is that she did a lot of substituting and it totally changed the way it was suppose to taste. Everyone that has tried this, loves it. See for yourself..

How to Make Baked Apple Pudding


  • 1Preheat oven to 350
    Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add apples
    Combine dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Bake in greased 8 by 8 baking dish at for about 45 minutes.
  • 2Sauce:
    Heat butter, sugar and cream on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring until slightly thick, add vanilla. Serve over warm pudding.
  • 3I heat the sauce until hot and then set the timer for 15 minutes and stir constantly until the timer goes off. I also, spoon this all over the top of the warm pudding (it soaks in as it cools) and then wait for it to cool until warm to serve it. I think it taste the best at room temp. Cover loosely or it will stick to the cover. I refrigerate it (if it makes it there) but let it get room temperature before serving it.
