Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
How To Make apple-walnut cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Grease and flour a tube pan or large bunt pan

Step 3In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.

Step 4In another bowl mix flour, baking soda, spices and salt together thoroughly.

Step 5Combine wet and dry ingredients. Bake for 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes then turn onto a wire wrack to complete cooling process.
