Ingredients
- 3 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 1/3 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoons real vanilla
- 4 - large egg, unbeaten
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 4 - large apples, peeled, slices/diced
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons sugar
How To Make jewish apple cake

Step 1Beat together until smooth -- flour, 2.5 cups sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla, oil, eggs, and juice.

Step 2In a separate bowl, mix apples, cinnamon and 5 Tbls sugar.

Step 3Layer the batter and apples in a greased tube pan, switching back and forth until it is all used up. (I like to end with some batter on top.)

Step 4Bake 350 for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours.
