Prepared for the October 2014 Curious Cuisiners meeting by Kathy Nichols. This easy cake was a hit for our "Short cut cooking" meeting.

Ingredients

  • 2-21 ounces cans apple pie or peach pie filling
  • 1 -14 oz package frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

How To Make apple-blueberry crunch cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Spread pie filling on bottom of a lightly greased 9"x13" pan.
  • Step 2
    Spread blueberries over pie filling. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over fruit and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.
