~ apple awesomeness ~
I made two pans of these apple bars, as a treat for my Church family tomorrow...I always love surprising them with something different. I believe they will really enjoy them, as they are awesome!! I bet you can't eat just one...so, so good! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter - melted
- 1 cup each - light brown sugar & regular sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 - 2 tablespoons vanilla ~ I use 2
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup apples, peeled, cored and chopped (about 1 large apple) ~ I used granny smith
- TOPPING MIX
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make ~ apple awesomeness ~

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Pour the melted butter into a large mixing bowl, to this add the sugars,vanilla and eggs. Using a spoon, combine well.

Step 2Into the sugar mixture, add the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir until well combined, batter will be thick. Fold in the apples and spread into prepared baking dish.

Step 3In a small dish, combine sugar & cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over batter.

Step 4Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Great served warm with ice cream. Equally as good as is. Enjoy!
