apple and cinnamon cake
Made this for my son on his birthday. Inspired by Linda Bailey's Cinnamon Roll cake. This is a moist dense cake

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground all spice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- TOPPING
- 1/2 cup dulce de leche
- 2 - apples, cored and diced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- - pinch of salt
- GLAZE
- 2 cups powered sugar
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
How To Make apple and cinnamon cake

Step 1Preheat oven 350 F In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and all spice. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon extracts and mix together. Slowly stir in melted butter. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.

Step 2Topping: Combine all ingredients together until well combined. Drop spoonfulls evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes

Step 3Glaze: In a microwave safe bowl, sift powder sugar and add vanilla, milk, and lemon juice. Stir until powdered sugar is mixed in. Add the butter and microwave for 30 secs and whisking to remove any lumps. Repeat if necessary until the butter is melted. Drizzle over cake.
