All in One Bowl Chocolate Cake

Ann Hatzimangas

This cake is so moist and delicious!. I can't remember where I found the recipe but the picture is my own. The first time I made this cake I panicked a little because the cake batter was so runny, but it came out perfect, so don't be discouraged. After I dusted it with caster sugar, I served it with a dollop of cream. If you try this I would love to hear your opinion.

How to Make All in One Bowl Chocolate Cake

  • 1Preheat the oven 175 degrees. Prepare your baking tin, I used an 8 inch round.
  • 2Stir together all dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water. Warning! Batter will seem very runny, don't worry, it's supposed to.
  • 3Bake for about 35-40 minutes, test with toothpick. Let cool in cake tin for about 10 minutes before removing. When fully cooled, dust with caster sugar.
