I made these last night at work and everyone loved them. These are a soft festive cookies with craisins, butterscotch and chocolate chips, and walnut pieces. The perfect Santa's cookie.

Ingredients For yule cookies

  • BEAT TOGETHER
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar
  • THEN ADD
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    flour
  • MIX WELL AND FOLD IN
  • 2/3 c
    each: chocolate chips and either white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 c
    walnut pieces, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    craisins

How To Make yule cookies

    beat together egg, sugars, and butter. add the vanilla and flour with the baking soda, baking powder and salt added. Mix well.

    Stir in the nuts craisins and the two kinds of chips.

    Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cook at 350 degrees for 12-13 minutes until just done. Do NOT over bake.
