A friend of my mother's gave us this recipe about 20 years ago. She has since passed on, but we continue to make this as a favorite cookie each year. You can't stop at just one! Seems like there are a lot of ingredients but they make one great cookie!

How to Make World's Best Cookie

  1. Cream butter & sugars. Add egg & oil; mix well after each addition; add oats, corn flakes, coconut & nuts. Stir well. Sift the soda & salt into the flour. Add flour and vanilla to the corn flake mixture and mix well.
  2. Form balls the size of walnuts. Flatten with a fork dipped in water. Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. I use parchment paper for perfect bottoms.
