I love this recipe because a old dear friend use to make it for me during christmas she is long passed. So I decided to share it with you all.

Ingredients For wine balls

  • 5 c
    flour
  • 5 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    red wine, dry burgundy
  • 3/4 c
    oil

How To Make wine balls

  • 1
    Combine flour,baking powder,salt, in small bowl.
  • 2
    Beat well surgar,egg,oil & vanilla in sperate larger bowl.

    Add dry ingredients into wet,till it forms into a dough. Let rest 5 minutes.

    Pinch of dough into smaller piesces,about an inch, deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.

    Drain on paper towells,(optional sprinkle with powder sugar or honey).
