Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    large egg
  • 2 c
    vanilla or white chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    coconut, flaked, toasted, if desired
  • 3/4 c
    macadamia nuts, chopped

How to Make White Chocolate Island Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Beat in egg.
  3. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  4. Stir in white chocolate chips, coconut and nuts.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes.
