Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - large egg
- 2 cups vanilla or white chocolate chips
- 1 cup coconut, flaked, toasted, if desired
- 3/4 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Step 1Sift dry ingredients.

Step 2Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Beat in egg.

Step 3Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Step 4Stir in white chocolate chips, coconut and nuts.

Step 5Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Step 6Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes.
