I first tried this concept while in England in high school. Came home and improvised my own version and it was delish! Here it is...

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tub margarine
- 1/2 cup crisco or vegetable shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 12 ounces white chocolate chips
- 12 ounces dried cranberries, hydrated in 1/2 cup boiling water then drained just prior to use
How To Make white chocolate cranberry cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper

Step 2Beat the margarine and crisco til smooth and creamy. Add sugars and baking soda. Cream til well blended. Add eggs and vanilla. Slowly add flour.

Step 3Fold in chocolate chips and drained, hydrated cranberries

Step 4Using a cookie scoop or two spoons drop cookie dough in rounds about truffle-size onto cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake about 8-12 minutes each batch depending on your oven, watching to remove while barely browned to maintain chewiness!!
