White Chocolate Cookies
4 1/2 ozbutter, softened
3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
1 largeegg, beaten
1 1/4 cself rising flour
4 1/2 ozwhite chocolate, coarsley chopped
1/4 cbrazil nuts, chopped
How to Make White Chocolate Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease two cookie sheets. Beat the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually add the beaten egg to the cookie batter, beating well after each addition.
- Sift the flour and salt into the cookie batter and blend well. Stir in the white chocolate chunks and the chopped nuts.
- Drop heaped teaspoons of the batter onto the cookie sheets. Do not put more than 6 teaspoons of the batter onto each sheet as they will spread during cooking.
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until just golden brown. Transfer the cookies to wire racks and let stand until completely cool.
