White Chocolate and Fresh Cranberry Cookies

2 1/4 call purpose flour

3/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 cwhite sugar

1/2 cpacked light brown sugar

1 cbutter at room temp

1large egg

1package white chocolate chips

2 tspgrated orange peel

2 cwhole fresh cranberries, finely chopped in a food processor
How to Make White Chocolate and Fresh Cranberry Cookies
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda.
- Cream butter and sugars together, then beat in the egg and orange peel. Gradually add dry ingredients until blended.
- Stir in chips and cranberries. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on the baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes, until golden. Cool on wire racks.
- Makes approximately 5 dozen.
