Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter at room temp
  • 1 - large egg
  • 1 - package white chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 2 cups whole fresh cranberries, finely chopped in a food processor

How To Make white chocolate and fresh cranberry cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda.
  • Step 3
    Cream butter and sugars together, then beat in the egg and orange peel. Gradually add dry ingredients until blended.
  • Step 4
    Stir in chips and cranberries. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on the baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes, until golden. Cool on wire racks.
  • Step 5
    Makes approximately 5 dozen.
