Ingredients For white chip island cookies

  • 1 2/3 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt (i omit)
  • 3/4 c
    butter or margarine, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    large egg
  • 12 oz
    white chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    coconut, flaked (toasted if desired)
  • 3/4 c
    chopped macadamia nuts or walnuts

How To Make white chip island cookies

  • 1
    Oven to 375 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. In mixer combine butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy. Add egg. Gradually add flour mixture. Spoon in chips, coconut and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
