Just in time for St. Paddys day!
Wee bites of Irish sweetness. Little green cookies sprinkled w/ powdered sugar. Very easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    softened butter
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp
    mint extract
  • 4
    drops green food coloring
  • ·
    powdered sugar

How to Make Wee Irish bites

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg bowl, beat all ingredients on med-low, except for powdered sugar. Blend well until a soft dough forms. Cover, chill 20 mins.
  2. Heat oven to 375. Lay parchment paper down on baking sheets. Form dough into small balls, place on parchment paper and flatten w/ the palm of your hand.
  3. Bake 15 mins, or until light and golden. Sprinkle w/ powdered sugar.
