This is my new cookie recipe I wrote for my husband. We both prefer white chocolate and a soft cookie. Everyone has really raved how good these cookies are, so if you try them I hope you enjoy them too.

This is a rich cookie that will please your sweet tooth. The addition of cream cheese gives this cookie a slightly different flavor, it's almost cheesecake flavored. Walnuts give the moist cookie a crunch and add a slight saltiness. The white chocolate chips are a great compliment to the entire cookie. If you are adventurous and like to try something a little different, give this cookie a whirl. It will not disappoint!

all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 stick
butter, softened
1 1/2 c
1 tsp
vanilla or walnut flavoring
6 oz
vanilla or white chocolate chips
1 c
roasted walnuts, chopped
1/4 c
all-purpose flour

How to Make Walnut White Chocolate Cream Cheese Cookie


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl sift together 2 c flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
  • 2In another bowl cream together, cream cheese, and butter.
  • 3Add sugar; mix.
  • 4Add eggs and flavoring; mix.
  • 5Add flour mixture and beat well.
  • 6In a small bowl combine nuts, white chocolate chips, and 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour. Stir to coat nuts and chips with flour.
  • 7Stir nuts/chocolate chip mixture into dough.
  • 8Drop by tablespoon onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 9Bake 8-10 minutes.
  • 10Let cool.
