Ingredients

1 -1/4 cup flour
1//4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg, separated
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

How To Make walnut stars

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk, milk, vanilla and mix well. Add flour and baking powder and chill to firm dough.

Step 2

Roll chilled dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut with star shape or any other shape. Place on greased cookie sheet.
Step 3

Beat egg white until frothy. Brush over cookie, sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until light brown.
