this is a recipe from my grandmother that we just fell in love with. Is a must to do every christmas or even if ya just got a sweet tooth!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 6 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 8 oz
    walnuts, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/4 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Walnut Balls

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325. Place butter, vanilla and sugar in a large bowl, beat on medium speed until creamy.
  2. On low speed beat in flour and salt, then stir in walnuts by hand.
  3. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet and place in oven for 13-15 minutes.
  4. Once balls are cool enough where the sugar wont melt, roll in the powdered sugar until coated and let sit and harden.enjoy!
