- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
- 3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make vanishing oatmeal raisin cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

Step 3Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

Step 4Stir in raisins and oats and drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet.

Step 5Bake for ten minutes, until lightly browned.
