We Have Used This Recipe Forever.The Kids Can Make It With Just A Little Help From You.This Picture Is For Halloween.With Sprinkles The Black Spot's Are Bat's.With Orange Sprinkles,They Will Enjoy These Simple Little Cookies.

Ingredients

1 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon soda
2 1/4 cups plain flour

How To Make vanilla drop cookies

Step 1

cream together shortening,sugar and salt.

Step 2

add; the eggs,mix a little again.
Step 3

mix soda in with the flour,add salt in to the flour and soda,blend together with a spoon.
Step 4

and add to creamed mixture.
Step 5

optional; now if you like you can add chopped nuts,or chocolate chips, or m and m's ,coconut or chopped fruit.drop by teaspoon full on cookie sheet. Makes About 2 dozen. Bake In A 400* oven for about 10-15 min.
