This easy and tasty recipe came from our church cookbook dated 1982. Both kids and adults love these candy-like cookie bars. They often appear at our Annual Holiday Bazaar and always sell out.

Ingredients
- 12 cups slightly crushed cornflakes
- 1 jar (16 ounces) dry roasted peanuts
- 1 1/2 cups corn syrup, light
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup peanut butter
How To Make unbaked peanut butter cookie bars

Step 1Stir together slightly crushed cornflakes and peanuts in a large bowl. Set aside. In a saucepan combine corn syrup, and sugars. Bring to a boil and boil fully for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Pour over cornflake mixture and mix gently until everything is coated.

Step 2Press mixture into a buttered 15 by 10 inch pan. Cool and cut into 24 bars.
