Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 cup butter flavored shortening
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocloate chips
How To Make ultimate double chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2Combine brown sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Step 3Beat egg into creamed mixture.

Step 4Combine flour, salt, and backing soda. Mix into creamed mixture until just blended.

Step 5Stir in chocolate chips, gently.

Step 6Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 3 inches apart onto paper.

Step 7Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies, or 11-13 minutes for crisp cookies.

Step 8Pull paper onto cooling rack or counter and allow cookies to cool completely. Pop off the paper and eat.
