ultimate chocolate chip cookies!
i found this recipe on the top of a butter crisco can . and every sense then i have made them everyone in my family loves them . i make them every year at christmas time i usually end up making more then one batch because there are alot of cookie monsters in my house :) i have changed a few things on this recipe like the type of flour i use and i prefer milk chocolate chips over the semi sweet chips :)

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup crisco butter flavor all-vegetable shortening
- 1 1/4 cups firmly pack light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk ( i use whole milk )
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour ( i use king arthur flour)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips ( i use milk chocolate) but u may use any kind of chocolate chips u like though
How To Make ultimate chocolate chip cookies!

Step 1Heat your oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2Combine shortening brown sugar , milk and vanilla in a large bowl . beat at a meduim speed with an electric mixer until well blended Beat in egg .

Step 3In a seperate bowl combine your flour , salt and baking soda. add your flour mixture to your shortening mixture until just blended .

Step 4Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by the round tablespoonfuls 3 inch apart onto an ungreased baking sheet . bake at 8 to 10 mins for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 mins for crisp cookies . cook on a baking sheet for 2 mins . remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely .... Enjoy !
