choco-cherry chip cookies
(1 RATING)
I have a passion for baking cookies and have tried lots of different recipes. Often times the recipes result in flat crunchy cookies. This is what I have come up with for thicker chewier cookies. Always a favorite around the house!

Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped dried cherries
How To Make choco-cherry chip cookies
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Step 2Beat butter until creamy. Add sugars and beat until nice and fluffy.
-
Step 3Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla mix until combined.
-
Step 4Add baking soda and baking powder, then salt, then flour.
-
Step 5Finally add chocolate chips and cherries. (I put 2 cups in the recipe but I eyeball it until the chocolate ratio is what I want)
-
Step 6Drop 1 inch balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes depending on oven. Cookies should be golden brown around the edges. They will puff up and sink slightly, but they stay gooey and delicious!
