I was playing around in the kitchen. Had a box of snicker doodle cookie mix. Bought some werthers to play with and had some chocolate disc's. So I combined together and made this fun cookie that tastes like a twix candy bar with a snicker doodle twist. Thats where the name came from. Enjoy. Yes I play around with box mixes, why not if the price is right and all the measuring is done for You. Feel free to make with Your snickrdoodle recipe ;)

How To Make twix~doodle's

Start by making Your cookies. I used a box mix. Just needed an egg and water. Instead of normal size cookies I made monster size ;) Bake and cool slightly on rack before placing caramel on.

Caramel disc's I used the new soft werther caramel's because the are easier to roll out, plus not to chewy for a cookie. Simply flatten and roll out to nice thin layer and cut out with a small circle cookie cutter. A shot glass works. Cut out and put aside for when the cookies are done. This will be Your first top layer on cookie before Your chocolate dip.

Layer cookies while stiil slightly warm. Place disc on top cookie lightly press down. Melt chocolate, drizzle over top! I originally was going to dip the wole cookie in chocolate, maybe next time. At this point Your cookie taste like a twix. I added a pinch of sea salt to mine. And for some I let it snow with some powdered sugar. I need to get some dark chocolate to make some with the sea salt. Great for baskets and gifting. A quick easy recipe, Your friends will think You baked all day!
