turkish delight
I first had these caramel brownies back at a high school get-together and I fell in love. Since then I have changed the recipe a bit to give it a twist of my own. I hope you in enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds unwrapped caramels
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, divided
- 1 package cake mix, german chocolate
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 8 - oreo cookies, crushed
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
How To Make turkish delight

Step 1Combine unwrapped caramels and 1/2 cup condensed milk. Melt together over low heat.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine cake mix with melted butter and 1/2 cup condensed milk. Stir until blended. Spread 1/2 the cake mixture over the bottom of a non-stick 9x13 pan. Top with crushed Oreo cookies. Bake @ 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven.

Step 3Spread the melted caramel mixture over the top of the cake. Sprinkle the caramel with chocolate chips. Crumble the remaining cake mixture over the top of the caramel and chocolate chips. It will not cover completely. Return to oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool and cut into bars.

Step 4Variation: Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.
