Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate squares
  • 6 ounces white chocolate - chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate squares
  • 1 cup light brown sugar - firmly packed
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

How To Make triple chocolate chunk cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Melt 2 squares of semisweet chocolate in small saucepan.
  • Step 3
    Cut remaining 6 squares chocolate into large chunks.
  • Step 4
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
  • Step 5
    Beat butter in large bowl until creamy.
  • Step 6
    Gradually beat in brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 7
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Step 8
    Then beat in melted chocolate.
  • Step 9
    Beat flour mixture into chocolate mixture until well blended.
  • Step 10
    Stir in semisweet chocolate chunks and chopped white chocolate.
  • Step 11
    Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step 12
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned around edge.
  • Step 13
    Remove from baking sheets to racks to cool.
  • Step 14
    You may substitute 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips for the squares, you will be melting 2 ounces and using the rest as chips.
