semisweet chocolate squares
6 oz
white chocolate - chopped
2 1/2 c
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
1 c
semisweet chocolate squares
1 c
light brown sugar - firmly packed
2 tsp
1 c
granulated sugar

How to Make Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Melt 2 squares of semisweet chocolate in small saucepan.
  • 3Cut remaining 6 squares chocolate into large chunks.
  • 4Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
  • 5Beat butter in large bowl until creamy.
  • 6Gradually beat in brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 7Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 8Then beat in melted chocolate.
  • 9Beat flour mixture into chocolate mixture until well blended.
  • 10Stir in semisweet chocolate chunks and chopped white chocolate.
  • 11Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • 12Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned around edge.
  • 13Remove from baking sheets to racks to cool.
  • 14You may substitute 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips for the squares, you will be melting 2 ounces and using the rest as chips.
