I made these once just for something new to try. Everyone loved them. I find them a bit sweet for me. I only make them now for the ones that ask me to at Christmas time for them.
Hope you enjoy them, I'm sure the kids will !

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/3 c
    3 1/2 oz can coconut
  • 1
    (12 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine

How to Make Treasure Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    Mix graham crackers crumbs, flour and baking powder in large bowl. In small bowl beat sweet milk and butter or margarine till smooth. Add to graham crumb mixture ~ mix well. Stir in coconut, chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen
