Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (i use pecans)
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. 2 Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and water until creamy. 3 Sift flour, baking powder and salt. 4 Add to creamed mixture. 5 Stir in nuts. 6 Spread batter in 8" square pan. 7 Sprinkle with chocolate. 8 Bake in 375 oven for 1 minute. 9 Remove pan. 10 Run knife through top for marbled effect, bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cake tester inserted inside comes out clean.
