Ingredients
- - pastry for 4 top and bottom crusts
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 - eggs lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Step 1Line mini pie maker or muffin tins with a bottom crust for 4 pies.(I posted recipes for mini pie crusts I recommend the chocolate pie crust for this recipe)Combine brown sugar,flour,eggs,butter,and vanilla.Add nuts and chocolate chips and mix well.

Step 2Divide filling between crusts.Slice top crusts into strips and place lattice style on pies. Bake in a mini pie maker for 8-10 minutes or in a 350 degree oven for12-15 minutes or until crusts are golden and filling is set.
