Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups quick oats, uncooked
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup nuts, chopped
How To Make toffee squares

Step 1Preheat oven 400. Grease 10x15 jelly roll pan.

Step 2In a bowl add oats, brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla and salt; stir until mixed.

Step 3Press oat mixture into prepared pan; use the back of a spoon to press the mixture. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until browned.

Step 4Remove from oven; spread the chocolate chips on top of the hot mixture. After a few minutes when chocolate is melting, use a knife to spread the melted chocolate bits evenly. Sprinkle nuts over the top of the chocolate. Cool completely. Cut into squares or bars.
