Approximately fifty 4 inch cookies
Ingredients
- 1 pound butter, room temperature
- 3 cups light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make thin, crispy chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, Cream butter until smooth. Add sugars, beat until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 2Into another large bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Slowly beat dry ingredients into wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.

Step 3Drop dough by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Spacing dough 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Bake until golden, 8 to 9 minutes. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and allow to cool on baking racks.
