Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
- 3 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
How To Make thick sugar cookie (for bouquets)

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add in the eggs and extract. Sift baking powder with flour and add in, mixing while adding.

Step 2Roll out dough to desired thickness, up to 1/2 inch. Place cutouts on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned on the edges.

Step 3Cool completely on wire rack before decorating.
