How to Make Thick sugar cookie (for bouquets)
- Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add in the eggs and extract. Sift baking powder with flour and add in, mixing while adding.
- Roll out dough to desired thickness, up to 1/2 inch. Place cutouts on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned on the edges.
- Cool completely on wire rack before decorating.
