    vanilla or almond extract

    baking powder

How to Make Thick sugar cookie (for bouquets)


  1. Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add in the eggs and extract. Sift baking powder with flour and add in, mixing while adding.
  2. Roll out dough to desired thickness, up to 1/2 inch. Place cutouts on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned on the edges.
  3. Cool completely on wire rack before decorating.
