These cookies are incredible and a little more healthy than the usual as whole wheat flour is included, along with oatmeal, walnuts, and dark chocolate.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (i use mexican vanilla)
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal, uncooked, measured then ground to flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
How To Make the ultimate chocolate chip cookie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2Cream together butter and sugars on medium speed of heavy duty mixer. Add eggs and vanilla, mix till well blended.

Step 3Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add to batter and mix well. Grind oatmeat to flour (I use my blender to pulverize the oats.). Add oatmeal to batter. Stir in chips and nuts.

Step 4Using a cookie scoop, scoop golf ball sized mounds onto cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake cookies for 6 to 8 minutes or until light brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
