I love to take a proven recipe and make it my own. No one could ever replace the chocolate chip cookie, So my thoughts were let's Hillafie them! Hold on to your seats this one will blow you away!

Ingredients For the hills surpise cookies

  • 2/3 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    chocolate covered raisins
  • 1 1/2 c
    chocolate covered peanuts

How To Make the hills surpise cookies

    Heat oven to 375 degree . Mix butter buttter, sugar, egg and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting. ( for a softer, rounder cooky : add add 1/4 more flour ) Stir dry ingredients together; blend in. Mix in nuts and raisins ( we add 2 full cups of nuts and raisins each! ). Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough about 2 in apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until delicatley brown ( cookies should still be soft ) Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
