1In a large bowl cream together butter, shortening and white sugar until smooth. Beat in Eggs and both vanilla n almond extracts. Mix in flour, baking powder n salt. Cover n chill AN HOUR TO OVERNITE.
2Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out 1/2 the dough (keep other half in fridge) on a flat surface sprinkled w/confectioners sugar. (also on rolling pin) Roll out to 1/4 - 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
3Place cookies on greased or parchment paper lined cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool Completely.
4Once cookies are cooled completely you can then decorate with cookie icing and let dry n set overnight. AND THEN ENJOY!
