Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened to room temp
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - ripened banana
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Set aside.

Step 3Beat together butter and sugars. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in vanilla.

Step 4Stir in flour mixture into wet mixture.

Step 5Slice and mash banana. Stir into mixture.

Step 6Stir in chocolate chips and oats. Mix well.

Step 7Onto a buttered / greased baking dish, drop batter by the heaping teaspoonful. Bake 10-11 minutes, or just until edges are slightly brown.

Step 8Let cool on cooling rack (or, if you don't have one like me, on a clean pizza baking dish - the ones with the holes in them - set on top of an upside-down bundt pan!) and store in air-tight container.
