This is a recipe that's a must during Christmas. I make it every year, especially because it is my daughter's favorite.

Ingredients For tea-time truffles/rum balls

  • 5 c
    chocolate cake rumbs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped raisins or currants
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp
    warmed & sieved apricot jam
  • 1 Tbsp
    dark rum
  • enough chocolate sprinkles for 15 rum balls

How To Make tea-time truffles/rum balls

  • 1
    Mix 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Add jam, rum & mix them well to form a stiff paste.

    Form into balls & roll immediately in the sprinkles & set aside in refrigerator or serve immediately.
