This recipes was a favorite for our after Church coffee meet & greets and one that my family loves. It is easy to make and as it makes quite a large number of cookies, it is great for taking to work functions, etc.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter or margerine
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 1/2 cups flour
How To Make tea party white cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Mix all ingredients and chill until set. Roll into walnut size balls, flatten with fork. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden on edges. Makes about 125-150 cookies.
